A Practical Guide to Coach Bags

The Brooklyn
Made in natural-grain leather, the Brooklyn is a soft, slouchy coach shoulder bag which sits far closer to a hobo than to the structured Tabby. Its launch came in August 2024, in the wake of its debut on the Fall 2024 runway. The Brooklyn 28 and the larger Brooklyn 39 stand out as the two main sizes reported to date. A newer shape, the Brooklyn Carryall, was reported for Spring 2026, though it is separate from the shoulder styles. In the UK the Brooklyn 28 was observed at £350 through John Lewis. The Rogue
Designed with top handles and a shoulder strap, the Rogue is Coach’s structured satchel. After its debut on the Fall 2016 runway, it was discontinued for a time and later returned in a 2021 relaunch. The line sits at the top of Coach’s leather range, with versions in regenerative leather and exotic skins. A Rogue 25 in alligator was observed at $8,000, the top Coach bag price observed in 2026.
A Made-to-Order Rogue is also offered by Coach, and it has reportedly taken about 12 weeks, stretching to roughly 16 weeks with exotic materials. Through Coach (Re)Loved, the brand’s own resale and repair program, restored Rogue bags have also surfaced. A good number of collectors see the Rogue as a demonstration of how far upmarket Coach craftsmanship can go.
The Empire Carryall Family
The Empire Carryall is a stretched-out, east-west top-handle bag listed as the Empire Carryall Bag 34. It was released in February 2025, following its appearance on Coach’s Fall 2024 runway. Fashion press reported that it sold out on its release day. Softer-bodied variants called Soft Empire, including a Soft Empire 40, are different styles from the structured Carryall 34.
The Empire Carryall 34 had an observed price of £475 on Coach’s own website in the UK. Its long top-handle shape turns it into a more polished alternative to a coach tote bag for everyday carrying. Anyone comparing listings should confirm the number after the name, since 34 and 40 are different bags.
Kisslock Styles Compared: Frame, Dreamer and Barrel
Modeled on vintage coin purses, the frame clasp called Kisslock is a motif that Coach associates with the Bonnie Cashin era. Take care not to mix up the several bags that share the term. Observed at $350, the Kisslock Frame Bag in glovetanned leather was reported as the opening look of the Fall 2026 show. Earlier Kisslock Frame versions also turn up in listings, so the family may predate that show.
Featuring quilted nappa leather and rivets, the Kisslock Dreamer 21 is an earlier style that now appears mainly as restored or upcrafted pieces through Coach (Re)Loved. For its Spring 2026 season, Coach Originals brought back a 1973 design as the Kisslock Barrel Bag. Adding yet another use of the name, a Kisslock Backpack was also shown for Fall 2026.
Swinger, Swing Zip and The Coach Originals
The Coach Originals is a line of newly produced reissues of archive designs, so its bags are new, not vintage. According to Coach, the original Swinger design dates from 1987; the bag is a short-strap, zip-top shoulder bag fitted with a turnlock. Today’s version is the Swinger Bag 20, also offered With Chain and in Signature canvas or jacquard. The Swing Zip is a separate Coach Originals bag based on a 1998 design, so the two names are not interchangeable.
The Safari Bag from 1968, the Dinky from 1974 and the Hamptons Hobo from 2005 also featured among the Originals reported in early 2025. By 2020, the Coach Originals name was reportedly being used. The line fits buyers who want an archive look without the wear of a properly vintage piece.
Soho Explained: Bag 25, Flap and Sneaker
As it covers three different products, Soho is one of the trickiest names in the Coach catalog. The original Soho Flap goes back to 2006. Produced in materials such as glovetanned leather, patent leather and crystal jacquard, the Soho Bag 25 is a more compact, newer reissue and not that 2006 bag. Soho styles are part of The Coach Originals, and a Soho Flap Bag in regenerative leather has also appeared in listings.
By contrast, the Soho Sneaker is footwear Coach showcased in 2025 and 2026, putting it with shoes and coach clothing rather than handbags. Adding “Bag 25” or “Flap” to a search helps to separate the bags from the shoe. Since no reliable current price for the Soho bags was captured, check Coach’s own website before making a purchase.
Willow, Cassie and Juliet Side by Side
Treat any launch date you see online with caution: these three lines are recognizable, but none has a documented launch year. Willow is a pebble-leather family that has included the Willow Tote 24, a Willow Bucket and a Willow Shoulder bag. A Custom Willow Tote has also been offered on Coach’s own website; the Willow Tote 24, meanwhile, is a simple example of a coach tote bag. The Cassie Crossbody Bag 19, featuring a Signature turnlock and interchangeable straps, sits within Cassie, a crossbody and top-handle design.
Cassie styles have remained listed on Coach’s own website under newer style codes. Sold in versions such as the Juliet Shoulder Bag 25 and the Pocket Juliet Bag 30, Juliet is a slouchy shoulder bag in glovetanned leather. Before leaning on an older review, confirm whether a given Willow, Cassie or Juliet style is still current, as availability changes by season.
